RATES

The price for a single booth space, 10' x 10' inside or outside, is $40. (You add your tables, display, etc.)

 (You add your tent, tables, display, etc.) Outside tents require a fire extinguisher if using electricity.

Available for rent are a few - 5’ round tables  @$10 per. (1 table limit). 

Depending on your needs, vendors requiring electricity can receive it for an extra cost. 

Shared booth spaces of two (require an additional $15.

We have plenty of chairs you are welcome to use. 

Payment is made to the St. Charles Ave. Baptist Donation Page. 


INCLEMENT WEATHER

In a hurricane or severe weather, the Bazaar will reschedule.  Be prepared if it rains. 


BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS 

Vendors booths are assigned and grouped according to category:

Artist, Crafters, Entrepreneur, Baker, Small business, and Non-profit and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Choose your option on the application form. 


VENDOR RESPONSIBILITY 

All Broadway Bazaar exhibitors and vendors are responsible for their taxes/occupational Licenses classified as "Special Events – Vendor (Other)" from the City of New Orleans. 


All exhibitors are responsible for the collection of City and State Sales Tax. The Broadway Bazaar will not collect or pay any taxes. 


All merchandise sold will be on a guaranteed represented, money-back basis. 


MUSICIANS 

If you play the piano, guitar, violin, flute, or sing, you are in a duo, soft sound group, or a choir and would love to perform for an hour or more; we would love to have you!  Call or email if you are interested in sharing your talent. (We can't pay you, but you can add a donation box or promote your CDs or other merchandise!) 


TIMES

Our BROADWAY BAZAAR MAKERS MARKET HOURS are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

SET-UP is the day of the Bazaar only. Exhibitors may set up no earlier than 7:00 am the day of Bazaar. All exhibitor booths must be completely set up by 9:30 am the day of the Broadway Bazaar. 

 

TAKE-DOWN of any booth may not begin before 4:00 pm. (That means no early break-downs).


All OUTSIDE tents must be weighted or staked to the ground for safety. 

The use of generators is not allowed at the  Broadway Bazaar. 


ARTWORK displayed at the Broadway Bazaar must be at least 80% handmade by the artist. No machine-made molds or mass-produced work is permitted. Artists may sell prints, but no mass-produced posters are allowed. 

 

 ETIQUETTE

The Broadway Bazaar reserves the right to request an exhibitor remove any item(s) from their display. Failure to remove such items after being asked by Broadway Bazaar staff may result in an exhibitor losing the opportunity to participate in future markets. (Items that display offensive language, racial reference or other).  


We are a non-smoking facility in and around the building. 

 

The Broadway Bazaar reserves the right to reject any contract for exhibit space and reject any exhibitor. 


All exhibitors agree to treat their fellow artists, vendors, and staff courteously and respectfully. We will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse of artists, vendors, customers, bazaar volunteers or staff. Offenders will lose the opportunity to participate in future markets.

 

CLEAN-UP

The exhibitor agrees to take care of our grounds by cleaning up their area and removing all trash at the end of the day. Failure to clean up debris may result in the exhibitor losing the opportunity to participate in future markets.


PARKING

Vendors can park on the driveway side of Broadway to unload only. 

Then cars must be parked away from the Church for customers and legally in the neighborhood or around Audubon Park. 

 

RIGHTS GRANTED 

The Vendor grants the Broadway Bazaar and assigns an irrevocable license to make two-dimensional reproductions of the Exhibitor's work. (Used for non-commercial purposes, including but not limited to reproductions used in advertising, brochures, media publicity, videos, catalogues or other similar publications.)

 

REFUNDS

Full Refunds are given seven days before the event, and half refunds are returned four days before the event. No refunds after that.  Signing the waiver attached to this document denotes you have read, understood, and will comply will all Bazaar rules listed here and as directed by Broadway Bazaar staff and volunteers.
